We had a mixed room, some wanted Arizona to win, and most wanted the Steelers to win - but what a great game huh? Andrea and Alex hosted our party at their house - Mom wore her Packers sweatshirt (even though they weren't playing today). Cousins Tom and Barbara from Ford City, PA sent Andrea and Alex some Steelers stuff, including the Championship shirts they're wearing here, as well as the Terrible Towel that Jack is holding - thanks so much for sending the goodies! Alex bbq'd bratwurst and hot dogs, Sue brought chili and dessert - we all had a great time together. So another year of football is over. After the game, I continued my tradition of releasing balloons to someone in particular up in the heavens just to let them know we're thinking about them down here. The Steelers balloon was sent up to my Aunt Jeannie, my dad's sister, a big Steelers fan who lived outside of Pittsburgh with the rest of the Ford City bunch. The football balloon I sent up to my dad, another great Packers fan, and the last balloon went up to Alex's dad who loved watching the game. They are sorely missed down here. LOOKING TO NEXT YEAR: Jack is hoping the Rams have a better year, and the rest of us are hoping that the Packers can pull out another big win next year without Brett Favre. Next up? GO ANGELS!
