Today Shawn is 11 months old, and just around the corner is his first birthday - it's so hard to believe that it's been almost a year since this little ray of sunshine has come into our lives. Today he was helping Grandpa Jack vacuum his Cheerios off the floor and wanted to help. We thought he would have been afraid of this noisy beast of a machine, but he didn't seem the least bit bothered by it. Today was also his second day at Kinder-Care, and he's really enjoying playing with the other children his age. He's trying out people food at lunch time, he had his first pancake for breakfast yesterday, and although he seems to be a great judge of whether he thinks he can swallow certain foods or not, he's taking his time which is a good thing. He doesn't seem to be drooling much anymore since he now has four teeth on top and four teeth on the bottom, so he now only wears a bib during mealtime. He's now wearing 9-12 month size clothes and is also mastering a sippie cup. The sooner we can get him off bottles the better. He still loves his Little Einsteins and since he doesn't watch it at all during the day, it's an extra special treat for him to sit back in his highchair after dinner and snack on some Cheerios while he's watching their latest mission. Happy 11 months little buddy!

SHAWN IS 11 MONTHS OLD!
