Before leaving St. Louis this morning, Chris and John stopped by a very large and very old military cemetery to visit John's father's grave; he passed away about two years ago. Then on the road they went, but were hit with a very thick fog with only about 50 feet of visibility. This fog lasted six hours, through Illinois, Indiana, and then Ohio. They arrived in Columbus, Ohio at the corporate office around 4pm this afternoon. Chris filled out some paperwork, picked up his new laptop, and his new Blackberry. Chris was then introduced to the president of the company; Chris found him to be very likeable and he told Chris, "We think the world of John, and if he thinks the world of you, then you'll be a great asset to this company." From the office they drove 2-1/2 hours to Cleveland to drop off John at his house. Chris then drive to Solom to stay at a hotel. The president of the company wanted Chris to stay at a hotel until his things arrived on the moving van, and that's not until Saturday! So Chris is enjoying the luxury of living in a very nice hotel for a few days, but he's going to see if he can get his things delivered to his apartment earlier than Saturday. Chris' first day in the office is tomorrow. He's been fighting a cold throughout the whole trip, but is taking medicine and is on the mend. Until tomorrow.....
