CHRIS ON THE ROAD - DAY TWO

After spending the night in Phoenix, Chris and John headed to Gilbert, Arizona to one of Bravo Development's construction sites, but there were no workers there - why? Who knows, but one call from John and they soon arrived. They then drove on to Scottsdale to look at another restaurant under construction. After lunch they went on to Flagstaff where they encountered their first snow and it was cold! As I was speaking to Chris at 5:30pm tonight, they had just crossed over into New Mexico and planned to spend the night in Albuquerque. I spoke with John too, and I thanked him for watching out for Chris these past few years and believing in him enough to make that phone call to ask him if he'd be interested in a job out in Ohio. John said that he's learned a lot of Chris, his unique work ethic, and his willingness to learn anything and everything. John said that he's not going to be in this business forever, and hopes that one day Chris will take over his job. And who knows, after Chris has more experience under his belt, that he could come back to The Cheesecake Factory and take over Chris' old bosses' job - you never know.
