CANDICE AND GRANDPA JACK SPEND TIME WITH BABY SHAWN

Aunt Candice came over and took some pictures of Baby Shawn and like the others she's taken, they are just beautiful. We've been blessed with having Candice and her great photo-taking talents around us before, during and after Baby Shawn's arrival, and am sad knowing that she'll be moving to Kansas City in June. There's no keeping her in Los Angeles, so she's off to experience the midwest kind of life.

For now, this picture Candice took of Jack and Shawn just staring at each other wondering "what's up with you?" Jack was probably telling him how great it would be for him to play the clarinet (like Grandpa) when he grows up, and not to play a brass instrument (like Grammy did). There's always the piano, he certainly has the hands for it! Grandpa Jack watched Shawn most of the day, changing poop diapers, feeding him, and just wondering where he's been all his life. More pictures to follow and announcements are going out to the rest of the family - we don't want to wait until our Christmas letter.
