Let it be known that Baby Shawn's umbilical cord dropped off and right now his belly button has a spiral to it, like a cinnamon bun! So not sure if it will be an "innie" or an "outie", but it sure is cute. THREE WEEKS OLD already and so alert and awake more often between feedings. He's such a good baby and travels so well in the car. Oh yes, and his poop officially smells now too. For a while there it was pretty pleasant, but now, oh boy - and Grandpa Jack is such a trooper when it comes to changing "those" diapers, he doesn't even flinch. Shawn is still wearing 0-3 months outfits, but some are getting a little snug. The plan is for him to wear all of them at least once, just so we can say he got some use out of all of the cute outfits he's received. We ran out of baby hangers too, so off to Target for more of those. Grandma Marty came by with more diapers and outfits, and we so appreciate that. Grandma Holly brought Winnie the Pooh bowls, a matching baby spoon, and the cutest night light for the nursery. Baby Shawn is so very fortunate to have so many Grandmas and Grandpas that love him and he'll get to know each and every one of them as he's growing up.
