FATHER'S DAY 2008

I'm a bit late with this Father's Day posting, but wanted to get this picture in of Jack trying out the new binoculars he got from Chris. He's always wanted a pair of binoculars, so I passed the word to Chris on something he wanted, and in the mail they came about a week later. Chris sent a card with wonderful words, as usual, and Shawn sent him a card telling him how wonderful Jack is and thanking him for all the sacrifices he's had to make because of his kids. Yes, we as parents make sacrifices, and that's all part of being a parent, you're with them through thick and thin, good and bad. But the bottom line is this - we wouldn't trade being parents for anything in this world. And now that we're grandparents, it's the frosting on the cake.
