Jackie, a friend of Chris', came back into town from Iowa, and just in time, the town she lives in is under water! She's back in town to sell back her college books at Cal State Fullerton, and she's also here to stay with us and see other friends. She drove up to San Francisco earlier in the week, and we made sure to make some time for some games. My nephew, Allen, came over, just like old times, and we played Five Crowns (a great card game). We had a lot of laughs and it was great seeing Jackie again. She also got to see Shawn for the first time and has been enjoying spending some time with him. She's had practice with babies from her little nephews, so she already knew how to handle the "muddy"
diapers. Chris is taking care of Bailey, the golden retriever they shared when they were dating, and it had been a while since Chris had seen her, so he's enjoying his time with her again. Jackie leaves tomorrow (Saturday) to fly back to Cleveland where she'll stay a couple days with Chris before she heads back to the still-flooded Iowa.
