BABY'S FIRST BRUNCH!

Baby Shawn went to his first brunch today at Luminarias in Monterey Park. Aunt Angie, Uncle Alex, and Nana joined Jack, Shawn, myself, and Baby Shawn. Melissa even bought the baby a new outfit for the occasion. A cute pair of beige pants, a while undershirt onesie and a grayish-blue sweater vest, how cute is that? The Mexican food was great, and Baby Shawn was mesmerized by the mariachis that came into our private room and serenaded us. His mouth was literally hanging open while he watched the men play their instruments and Uncle Alex join them in song. After brunch we needed to get home so Shawn could be to work by 2pm. Melissa was home sick all day with a stomach flu so she wasn't able to join us, but it gave her a whole day of just taking care of herself while Shawn took care of the baby until he went to work and then Jack and I took over. He's such a joy to take care of and just falls asleep in my lap, fussy is definitely not a word to describe this child, we are very lucky he's so mellow.
