SAD NEWS FROM OHIO......

I talked to Chris today and he had some bad news - he got laid off from his job at Bravo Development Inc. They let him go today, but he received a very nice severence package - they'll pay his salary through to the end of the year, they'll pay for any break in his apartment lease, and they'll pay for his relocation expenses to wherever he ends up, even California. Companies don't have to give you anything, so this was generous of them. Chris' boss said his leaving had nothing whatsoever to do with his performance, it's strictly economy related. Chris will make some calls to contacts throughout the week and see what pans out. He comes from hearty stock, so he'll be just fine, something like this just takes the winds out of your sails for a while. And if he has to come back to California, he'll do that and have a place here at home to stay. He said we're his safety net, and he appreciates that more than we'll ever know, but doesn't want to come home unless he really has to, and we don't take that personally, we know exactly what he means, he's all grown up.....
