10 MONTHS OLD!

So, this little guy is now 10 months old. Can't even imagine how it crept up on us all so fast! So what's he up to at this ripe old age of 10 months? Well, he doesn't go the doctor until April (his one year check up), but I would guess he's about 24 pounds now. He lost total interest in his pacifier about a month ago, so good riddance to that, he dropped it one too many times and we got tired of picking it up, so out it went, he never seemed to miss it - whew! He loves taking baths in his big yellow duckie, and he loves the after-bath ritual of baby powder and baby lotion, and when he's done, he smells so good you just wish you could bottle that baby smell and take whiffs of it anytime you want. He's figured out how to stand on his own, which he's done up to about two minutes, while watching "Little Einsteins" of course, but once he realizes what he's doing, he'll look down at his feet and slowly sit down. The first time he did that we were all in the room, and when he sat down we clapped and said, "Yay Shawn!" He looked at all of us like, "What's the big deal? What did I do?" He laughs a lot, smiles a lot, and he's very patient. He'll eat anything you put in front of him, even the green food, and lately he's been fascinated with the vacuum cleaner, he tries to chase it, and when it chases him, he "runs" away laughing. Next up? His baptism this Sunday......Shawn Patrick Triefenbach will become our newest "Cradle Catholic".
