One of the men who Jack works has a son who's older than Shawn, so he's been giving Jack clothes that his son outgrew. Something else that his son outgrew was a tricycle, complete with a parental handle to help steer. Well, Jack and Shawn were seen taking a ride in the backyard this past weekend. Shawn's feet don't even reach the pedals, but he was hanging on tight and having fun with this new toy. Jack also scored the other night when someone brought in a Hertz rental car to the dealership for servicing - and what did someone leave in the backseat? A child's carseat. We wanted a second one for Jack's car, and what a deal - it was free!
The Hertz guy says people leave those all the time, he has 14 back at the shop!.It's nice when free windfalls come your way, we could use more of those. Then here is Shawn waving to me from the backseat of the car this morning on the way to daycare wearing his Lakers outfit (he's a fan). What a smile huh, and those eyelashes are noticed by everyone - I know a lot of women who would PAY to have eyelashes like that!
