SHAWN'S FIRST TIME AT THE BEACH!

OK, so I don't have a real picture of him at the beach, but this gives you a idea of what he would have looked like. It didn't take long to realize that he's going to be another water baby like his Mom and Dad. He was fascinated with the sand. First of all, walking on it, trying to keep his balance, just the sheer texture of it. He picked some up and let it run through his fingers, he even tasted it, but mom was there with a water bottle rinsing out his mouth. He was making sandcastles in the wet sand with his mom when he just stood up and ran towards the water. When the tide came in and went back out pulling sand out from under his feet, he weaved back and forth trying to keep his balance and BOOM, he landed on his butt with an odd look on his face like "how did that happen?". Shawn also has "Water Day" every Friday at daycare, and he just loves it. His teacher, Miss Melissa, says that only Shawn and one other boy even like the water, so they have a great time together. Today Melissa broke out the pool Aunt Angie gave him for his birthday, and after laying down a blanket on the front lawn for the pool to sit on, Mom and Shawn proceeded to have a lot of water fun together. People drove by taking in this scene and Shawn would wave to them and they would wave back. Tomorrow will be another day with some pool fun and this time I'll have my camera ready!
